September Update
September Work Report:
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My family and I are doing well.
I start by apologizing for the delayed report. I live in an apartment with no internet network, so I have to move to town to access internet service.
During the month of September, I was able to establish the following programs:
1. Sunday school program .
I help the Church here to teach Sunday school. Presently, we are learning from first and second Peter. Our theme for 21/09/2018 was from 1Peter 1:15-16, "...Be Holy because I am Holy". On 28/09/2018, our theme was from 1Peter 2:13-24," Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men..." The lessons from our Sunday school are helping the brethren build, strengthen , and maintain their faith in Jesus.
2. Women’s classes.
I conduct women’s classes to help them recognize the different roles they can play in the church such as teaching fellow women, teaching children classes, etc, and their roles at home as Christian mothers . Again, women’s classes help us meet with non christian women thereby creating an opportunity for us to evangelize them.
3. Youth classes.
Youth classes are premised on 1Timothy 3:15, " and how from infancy you have known the Holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ" . Our youth need the spiritual wisdom in order to maintain a holy relationship with God and the community around them. I also help teach our youths.
4. Evangelism activities.
I have established several Bible studies with the communities around the Church here and in Soroti in general. I am glad God is opening the door for me to share the gospel message and I am receiving a good reception . People are willing to listen to the truth . Join me to pray for lost souls to accept the gospel message.
