All In Disciples

Jesus reigns he is in authority over every decision we make, everything we do, everything we say, everything we think Jesus is in charge.  And if we are going to be all in disciples we have to get this fact.  This is the core, this is the foundation in fact this is exactly what Jesus was talking about when he was talking the wise man and the foolish man with the foundations and the different kinds of footing that they built their lives upon.  When we trust in the Lord, when we trust in Jesus, when we listen to what he says and let him have all authority over our life and obey him then we are wise and we can stand against the storms of life.  But if we want to have a little bit of control, if we don't want to give Jesus all authority then he has NO authority over our life.

In my evangelisim in 2021 when I have an opportunity to share the Godspel with somebody am I going to hold back sharing the Gospel from somebody because of their background?  Because of who they are, where the came from, color of their skin, socio-ecomonimic status whetever it is am I going to hold back the Gospel from somebody for some purely outward reason.  There have been people that I've heard of who have come to the Lord who have accepted Christ, who have been baptized into his name and been save that I never thought in a million years would ever come to the Lord.  That just shows what Jesus knows.  Could you imagine that even Paul himself would have been such an effect servant of the Lord.  I mean he was the exact opposite of an effective servant of the Lord-- he was an enemy to God.  And Jesus said I can use him, I can use that.  Jesus has the abiility to make all nations serve Him and we not need to get in the Lord's way when he talks about all nations.  Through our  own prejudice.  And we need to extend ourselves to all backgrounds.
Col 4:5-6
